More Product Information

Meet your new eco-friendly kitchen essential: the LoofCo Bottle Brush. Thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in Sri Lanka, this robust brush offers an effective, sustainable alternative to plastic bottle brushes. Whether you're rinsing out jars for recycling or cleaning tall glasses and water bottles, the LoofCo Bottle Brush delivers on both performance and principles.

This clever tool features a twist of coconut coir fibre wrapped around a strong galvanised metal core, ending in a curved brush head for extra reach into tricky corners. A smooth rubberwood handle, sourced from trees at the end of their latex-producing life cycle, adds comfort and durability. The cotton hanging loop makes for easy drying and tidy storage.

With a brush head approximately 16cm x 3cm at its widest point and a 10cm x 2cm handle, the total brush length is around 26cm, making it ideal for tackling everyday cleaning jobs from the sink to the recycling bin. The curved end of the bristles helps reach into the base of bottles, jars, blender jugs and even dishwasher filters, making it an incredibly versatile cleaning tool.

LoofCo is committed to eco-friendly living, with a full range of plant-based, biodegradable and plastic-free household products—from loofah pads and coir brushes to natural soaps and scrubbing cloths. Each item is made with sustainability in mind, using renewable raw materials and traditional techniques.

How to Use:

  • Rinse thoroughly before first use

  • Soak the brush head in warm water, then apply washing-up liquid or LoofCo Washing-Up Soap

  • Scrub the inside of bottles, jars, tins, or any awkward container

  • Rinse, shake off excess water and hang by the cotton loop to dry

  • Occasionally soak in hot water with detergent to refresh

The natural coir bristles are tough on grime but gentle on glass and metal surfaces. And when your brush finally reaches the end of its life? The fibres are biodegradable, the metal core is recyclable, and the wooden handle is compostable or reusable, making this a zero-waste win for your kitchen and the planet.
