Every gardener needs a reliable, hardworking pair of secateurs – and the RHS Bypass Secateurs by Burgon & Ball are built to deliver comfort, power and precision season after season.
These RHS-endorsed secateurs are made with fully hardened and tempered high-carbon steel blades that retain their sharp edge for clean, efficient cutting. Perfect for general pruning tasks, they cut through stems up to 2.5cm in diameter, making them ideal for live wood, shrubs and roses.
The lightweight alloy handles are fitted with a bright terracotta soft grip, designed for visibility (no more losing your secateurs in the border!) and all-day comfort. Rubber cushion stops help absorb shock, reducing hand fatigue during prolonged use – perfect for anyone tackling a big pruning session or regular garden maintenance.
Supplied with a replacement blade and spare spring, and backed by an impressive 10-year guarantee against manufacturing defects, these secateurs combine professional performance with peace of mind. And as you'd expect from a tool carrying the RHS seal of approval, they’ve been built to the highest horticultural standards.
Why We Love It at AllotMate Essentials:
A great pair of secateurs makes a huge difference – and these are among our favourites. They’re tough, comfortable, and incredibly reliable. We love the bright terracotta handles (easy to spot in the grass!) and the thoughtful extras like the spare blade and spring. A solid all-rounder for any gardener.
