RHS Melon Emir F1 Seeds produce deliciously sweet, aromatic melons that are well suited to the UK climate. This fast growing F1 hybrid has been bred for improved tolerance to cooler conditions, making it an excellent choice for our relatively short growing season and a reliable option for home growers.

The netted fruits develop juicy, flavour packed flesh with a rich aroma, offering a true taste of summer when harvested at full ripeness. Emir F1 performs particularly well in greenhouses and cold frames, but can also be grown outdoors in a warm, sunny and sheltered position during good summers.

Thanks to its strong vigour and dependable cropping, this variety rewards careful growing with consistent results and high quality fruit. Its adaptability makes it suitable for gardeners who want to try growing melons for the first time, as well as more experienced growers looking for reliability.

Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Melon Emir F1 has been recognised for its performance, flavour and suitability for UK conditions. It is part of the trusted seed range produced in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society.

Part of the seed range produced by Mr Fothergill’s Seeds in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society, these seeds are packed in the UK and meet strict quality standards.
