Ready to start growing with confidence, without overthinking what you need and when you need it.
Our New Starter Sow Grow Pot On and Sieve Bundle brings together the exact pieces a beginner gardener reaches for in the first season. You will germinate seeds, grow strong seedlings, pot on into bigger homes, then tidy your compost for a smooth finish. Buy the bundle and you save 20% compared with purchasing the items separately.
The pots are made from natural coir fibre with a plant based latex binder. They are plastic free, peat free and fully biodegradable, so roots can grow through the pot walls and you can plant them straight into the soil when the time comes. Less transplant shock for the plant, less waste for you. We include three useful sizes so you can step plants up as they grow. Start in 10 cm, move into 17 cm, then finish in a generous 28 cm for sturdy young plants ready for the garden, greenhouse or patio containers.
To keep your potting mix light and lump free, the Garland two in one soil sieve earns its keep from day one. The interchangeable mesh inserts let you quickly refine compost for fine seed sowing, then switch to a wider mesh for top dressing and general potting. It is simple to rinse, stackable in your shed and strong enough for daily use.
