The press includes 5 sheets of corrugated card and 8 sheets of sugar paper, giving ample space to press several flowers or leaves at the same time. These layers help wick away moisture while allowing air circulation, which is essential for successful flower pressing.

The press is secured using metal nuts and bolts which allow the layers to be tightened evenly. This ensures gentle and consistent pressure across the flowers being pressed. Nuts and bolts are supplied in a small envelope, alongside an A7 folded leaflet that explains how to assemble the press and begin pressing flora.

Studio Wald produces each press in England, with laser cut boards and carefully printed designs assembled in their Leeds studio.
